In case you didn’t hear, it snowed in Atlanta and the city has shut down! It quite sad to hear the stories of people being stuck in their cars for 12+ hours, people abandoning their cars on the side of the road, children being held in school buses or having to spend the night at school. The stories are horrific but what I love about my city is strangers helping strangers. Its beautiful hearing the stories of people going over and beyond to help those who need it – hoping up their houses, giving blankets, providing food, etc. One of the many reasons why I love Atlanta!
I made the most of the snow and totally embraced my inner child and had a snow ball fight and went sledding! We don’t get much snow in the south but when we do, we make the most of it!
