Planning a wedding has really been allowing me to be more creative & use all my gifts. Designing our Save the Date postcards was a lot of fun for me. I’m originally from Florida and Tyler is from Georgia but we have so many family & friends located outside the state so I knew I wanted something that really emphasized where our wedding was going to be. We also both happen to love Georgia and have no plans of moving anytime soon, so being able to incorporate the state as the shape was really meaningful. After a lot of redoing & revisions, this is what I came up with. I find when designing something for yourself it can be even harder than just designing for a client. It really re-opened my eyes to how important good design work is but not only for myself but when I do work for others. To top it off, I got it printed on paper that had a pearl finish, and if you look at it in a certain light it sparkles!
