Can I tell you a secret? I like things my way. I want them to happen in my time, yet I still want them to be the desires that God has for me. I want the cake & eat it too. Can anyone relate?
We can get so caught up trying to outdo other people—coming up with the new “trendy” idea, fighting for the promotion, or striving for a pay raise—that we forget what God has for us. God has good plans for us, but they come in His timing and NOT ours. It’s so easy to get caught up in the task; when the task doesn’t go our way, we take it personally. We let it take root in our hearts, and it goes so deep that it totally strangles us. I’m talking to myself here! You may be a business owner or an employer serving someone else’s vision; either way, you cannot let the word of humanity rule. Instead, know what God says about you. That’s why, when I found these images on Behance, I just had to share. I am HIS daughter, and He only has the best for me. So even when it feels like everything around you is less than perfect, be encouraged knowing that you are His beloved, His desires are for you and me and all of us. We are His daughters. A father only wants what is best for His daughters. Let that echo in your thoughts when you are feeling stepped on by people, let the Words of God take root and be your support in seasons of uncertainty.
